@Rooftoprogue@ImCollegeSoccer The issue you brought up has been the case for sometime. It is something that isn't really discussed. Many of the olympic sports are really the bastion of the middle and upper class. Ironic sports use to be viewed as a way for those who couldn't afford college to pay for college.
NW OH Families - this is close to the cost of going to Michigan to play for ECNL and probably GA club team. I think it is fairly safe to say $15 to $20K a year is a safe bet.
DM: Ran my final season of club soccer making a 2 hour drive from home to practice, 4 hours total round trip.
$2,831/month or $19,817 paid in 7 month season ending in mid May.
$1,200/month just in expense to travel to practice during the week.
From where we live, the $19,817 includes clubs fees, uniforms, travel for practice, games, and showcases. Hotel, food, gas , car rental, flights, you name it and I accounted for it all this year just to have an idea.

#CSTruth Wow!
@ImCollegeSoccer Four Ohio schools, we just lost Lourdes University. Not good, we talked about the demographic bust. It is going to get a little worse before (God willing) it gets better. It will be interesting to see how this impact youth travel sports.
@ImYouthSoccer Your data is so important. What a insightful story about the 2027. I hope she understands that coach can only be trusted if there is a counterbalance of power. Please disregard the haters, they are free to swim in the bay of ignorance, which flows into the ocean of despair.
