@BeaumontCA_PD has been notified a train is blocking the California and Veile Ave railroad crossings due to a mechanical issue. Please avoid the area and find alternate routes. We will update as more info becomes avail.

Update as of 12:31pm, UPR officials are working to remove the train from the crossings and have updated the blockage is expected to be cleared in approximately 1 hour.

Update as of 8:43 p.m. the train has been cleared from both crossings. Pennsylvania Avenue and California Avenue are reopened.

@BeaumontCA_PD has been notified of a train blocking the Pennsylvania Ave and California Ave railroad crossings. We have been in communication with UPR, but do not have an ETA on when the train will be able to clear the crossings. Please avoid the area or find alternate routes.

Update as of 8:24 p.m. Union Pacific Railroad has deployed a separate train to connect and move the disabled train from the tracks. The blockage is expected to extend another 45-60 minutes.
