@fem_mb I was very badly let down by best friend a few years ago. she later tried to keep the friendship going but I just couldn’t do it. It still hurts.
I’d be wanting to know why your friend wants to meet and talk now. In my experience it’ll be to make herself feel better and not you
We have written to the National Librarian about her decision to remove The Women Who Wouldn't Wheesht from the centenary exhibition for the National Library of Scotland, Dear Library, in response to complaints from its LGBT staff network. 1/2
Can we urge you to sign this petition.
Accurate language - which is what sexed language is - is vital across health comms and particularly government health comms.
The more accurate language we get in official comms, the more it will leak through to media coverage.

Some people are still not getting it, so can we make some things clear here:
• If men can be considered women in law, women cease to exist as a category.
• LGB is about sexual orientation, TQ is about identity. If you can identity as a sexual orientation, eg, be a heterosexual man claiming to be a lesbian, homosexuality ceases to exist.
• Childhood is about developing a sense of self & exploration. Medicalizing children based on a sex-based stereotype & declaring it “gender identity” is one of the most profound child abuses one can commit.
None of the bullshit of gender identity ideology works in law or society. If you’re on the side of it, it’s your job to work out how to make it work without taking away rights from anyone else. Godspeed.
One thing that many broadcasters, commentators and politicians are missing is the Supreme Court's core insight that the reason why sex matters in law is that women and men have different needs.
@ForthFeminists@mickbrick54@jane_mclenachan Completely out of the loop due to my health recently. Is there somewhere I can find details to attend if I feel up to it tomorrow? Thanks.
