Two years ago she found out she had it too.

It's crazy that women can get tested for the BRCA1 gene but if positive, NHS can't offer preventative treatment - basically have to wait for cancer. Unimaginable turmoil - thanks @BeauxHarris for sharing story. Pls support her fundraising if you can x

This is heartbreaking. Helen McCroy was such an incredibly beautiful and stoic actress.

I remember seeing her in Medea at the National and was completely captivated by the performance.
