@NYstateparks@NYGovCuomo@BilldeBlasio - I surely hope my son has the opportunity to grow up in a society that is very different than the one presented in our Harlem neighborhood today.
@NYstateparks@NYGovCuomo@BilldeBlasio - All of our tax dollars pay for this city and state, whether it be the Upper East Side or West Harlem. What I witnessed is the blatant difference in how resources are allocated and services are rendered based on socioeconomics.
@NYstateparks@NYGovCuomo@BilldeBlasio - Your rules and ideas need to service the community you are providing for. It is, once again, a complete disgust to see people of a lower economic level treated like they deserve less.
@NYstateparks@NYGovCuomo@BilldeBlasio - There are no baby bags allowed on the pool deck and the wading pool was closed (also not written on your website, mind you, this was after I followed instructions to shower myself and my son off before entering the pool deck).
@NYstateparks@NYGovCuomo@BilldeBlasio - There are no strollers allowed (we walked from East Harlem. It did not say anything about that on your website and the option was the leave it out front, no where near where we would be mind you).
@NYstateparks@NYGovCuomo@BilldeBlasio - I just had an incredibly disappointing experience with my 8 month old son at the Riverbank State Park Pool. Please service the people in the community the way the deserve to be treated. The staff there were lovely, but the rules are not.
