Is it the end of the world as we know it? Most likely. But it could be the beginning of the world as we wish it to be. And as always, this means those who are aware and willing will find joy and hope in it. And in the end, this can lead to better days.
What if we didn’t think of ourselves as human? Would we see, hear, taste, and experience more of what is already available to us? Since our perceptions that we are as a specific kind of human filter out anything that doesn’t agree with the paradigm, I guess we would.
If we were honest with ourselves, would we trade our lives for someone else’s? Instead of complaining about what we need to do to support it, wouldn’t it be better if we learned to love what must be done? And when that is not possible or advisable, choose to say no.
When did we start believing that not changing our minds was a good thing? A rigid nature and mind are dangerous both to ourselves and to humanity. We should celebrate creative thinkers with a constantly shifting awareness while rooted in the Principle of Love for all of creation.
Have you ever walked down a mislabeled aisle in a store? How hard was it to find what you wanted?
In the same way, mislabeling ourselves makes it harder for people to find what we offer.
Self-knowledge and correct “labeling” is essential in building a business.
Thoughts as I wrap up the final draft of my next book.
What if we thought of life as a story we get to keep rewriting?
And like a book, we can finish stories, so we can start a new one.

On days like today, when everyone is selling something, perhaps the greatest skill we can develop is to carefully examine what we really need and say no more than we say yes. This is not a closed mind. It is an aware mind.
Be master of your petty annoyances and conserve your energies for the big, worthwhile things. It isn't the mountain ahead that wears you out - it's the grain of sand in your shoe. -Robert Service #quote
The BeeGees asked us all how deep is our love. What about asking how expansive and consistent our love is for ourselves, our friends, our family, our purpose, humanity, and the earth? And after we answer those questions, isn’t the next question: How do we love?
Haven't we all been taught to seek God first, and all we need will be given to us?
It is the desire to live as the action of the Divine and to do so with awareness and understanding—not to get something but to live within the grace of God.

What if we had the habit of pausing and reminding ourselves that the harvest is always ready and that we were promised that every need would be met before we knew we had the need? Then, there would only be joy at the opportunity to observe God’s law, outside of time, in action.
Writing is like driving a car at night. You can only see as far as the headlights, but you make the whole trip that way. -Cory Doctorow #quotefortheday
