I do not check my messages that get filtered out…generally I look every so often bc if someone is going to message me, they let me know so I can look for their message
But if you message me, then message me about 15 more times in 2 days, I’ll just block you
@hopppernickle Just an FYI, there is only one pharmacist (at most two) in the pharmacy, the rest are pharmacy technicians. This is a common misconception.
I swear, too many people slept through their programs or they are allowing people to influence their clinical skills
This is all BIASED thinking. All of it. You are allowing whatever it is to influence you into practicing bad medicine, whatever part of healthcare you’re in
This whole “let’s treat everyone like it’s a psychological issue without first ensuring these isn’t a physical issue first” is bullshit
Know what else it is…BAD MEDICINE! You treat every patient to rule out physical issues first before ever reaching to psych related
I constantly wondered what everyone else knew I that didn’t bc I swear it looks so easy for everyone else and meanwhile I play life by trial & error
Autistic person: “I spent years studying people like a subject.”
Friend: “because you were autistic?”
Autistic person: “Because I thought everyone else received instructions for being human except me.”
And to be honest, I’d LOVE to be highlighting it more myself but the sad truth is, too many examples of bias & poor patient care exist & im tired of us just letting it happen or not calling it out…its why I do & actively look into ways to improve…
We’re a primary care practice in Vermont. We implemented a practice-wide protocol screening every patient at every encounter for recent SARS-CoV-2 infection history. What we’re observing in our panel is not consistent with a psychosomatic framework.
We’re seeing measurable, objective increases in new-onset hypertension, acute cardiovascular events, new-onset allergic disease, and new-onset type 2 diabetes mellitus, all temporally correlated with infection history. These are not symptom reports. These are clinical findings.
@Be_like_legend I LOVE being a pharmacist but I’ve had to find my way of doing it bc the traditional positions burnt me the fuck out. What I do now is amazing and I truly love it
I really hate to say this but I have to bc it’s true…
This is the majority of HCW too. Rarely do they listen when it doesn’t fit their narrative & 95% of them think they aren’t biased even though research contradicts that (approx 70% of HCW are biased against disabled people)
Alan Levinovitz proudly displaying his unwillingness to listen, question his conclusions, interrogate his biases, and address his failures of logic and rejection of mountains of evidence, despite 100s of folks sharing citations = a perfect case study of the grandiose man.
I'm noticing a lot of people's crowdfunds are stalling.

Would love to eat tonight as I haven’t the last couple of days. If you can spare it, please do! Grateful to be inside and able to rest for a few days 😭🖤
@dthadirector I hope they never find themselves in reversed roles needing the help but lacking anything solid or sustainable…bc then, I wish them the worst.
