At a time where reports of men's violence against women are increasing, what would compel the @OttawaCitizen to publish an op-ed filled with victim-blaming? This will only increase the shame, blame and fear surrounding women who are subjected to this violence. This is awful.

-He threatened to snap her neck,
gouge out her eyeballs & kill her family.
-She reported to police.
-1 month later, police inspector said they wouldn’t lay charges b/c "officers were human beings and they make mistakes."

Men yelling out a car window to encourage other men to sexual assault a woman isn’t something anyone should have to brush off as just part of the job. The act is meant to humiliate, shame and silence. This is workplace violence.
