Hey! If you are leaving, and we have interacted here at all, please follow me on these other places. I will probably still be around but will try and remember to check other places as well π
@clhubes My cat is 11 years old and has just started acting out of character every now and then to alarm us - but the vet has informed us she is just being dramatic π€·ββοΈ
@AlmanME My husband and I bonded through the trauma of directing a camp where EVERYTHING went wrong (despite our best planning efforts). That was in 2014, now we have been married for five years and have a one year old.
peter is so... it's just so... it's so devastating. it's like where do you keep the love that you still hold for this person. where do you keep that grief. what do you do with all these what ifs. it's like a secret that you hold within yourself. it makes me wanna die i swear
@bobbyfijan I know a family where the young couple bought a 2bed unit, but 3 kids later had outgrown - they and grandparents who had a house nearby swapped houses for about ten years, so the kids had space, the grandparents were nearby in their community, & no one was financially strained.
@oldenoughtosay I have appreciated my parents more & more since becoming a parent myself. My dad filled my freezer with delicious soups when I had my baby. My mum fly to a different city to stay with me last month so I didn't have to solo parent while my husband went to a funeral. Lifelong love.
@sewistwrites My baby girl has less than 5 words, but apparently her dad waited until he could talk in full sentences and has never stopped talking since so I'm not too worried π
As the mum of a 1.5year old, i am desperately looking forward to the day I can leave the house without double checking I have all 101 necessarily items with me π
Thereβs a conversation floating around today regarding literacy and access and I cannot stress enough that everything cannot be wrapped up in a quippy zine or short form TikTok or video essay or tweet thread. Complex ideas require time to express AND comprehend.
