Year 6 had a fully immersive historical experience yesterday to support their learning. LPPS went back in time and the children had 'A day in the life of a Victorian school pupil'. A great effort from the Year 6 team who planned all of the activities.
LPPS hockey team played brilliantly in the primary school's tournament. They played some fantastic hockey and narrowly missed out on being in the semi-finals. They organised themselves efficiently, encouraged one another and displayed great sportsmanship throughout the event.
Some of our Year 6 children are being trained today as Sports Leaders to support with running games at lunchtimes. Thanks to Mr Moore, Trust PE Lead from Hayes Secondary, for delivering the training session today. @ImpactAca1@HayesSecondary
Thank you Katie for speaking to our Year 5 & 6 children about the Jewish festival of Hannukah today. We have deepened our understanding & it helped us demonstrate our values of respect, unity & empathy. We loved having Ms Larbi, RE specialist from Hayes Secondary join us too.
We celebrated a fantastic 'Crazy Hair Day' at school before the half-term holidays.
We had so much fun! Thank you to the Friends of Langley PTA for organising.
We are incredibly proud of our KS2 children who took part in a lacrosse festival at St David's Prep School. For many of them, it was their first time playing lacrosse outside of school. They played extraordinarily, winning or drawing 9 out of the 12 games that they played.
We are so proud of our Year 5 and Year 6 runners who took part in this year's Bromley Schools Cross Country event. They were a shining example of our school values, demonstrating unity, respect, passion and perseverance. Well done to all of those who took part.
