From above, a little ornament. At eye level, someone you have met.

Camera height can change the relationship before the character moves at all.

[Beckon @Beckoncat]

[Beckon @Beckoncat]

[Beckon @Beckoncat]

[Beckon @Beckoncat]

Beckon

The astronomer drew a new constellation.
Two ears. One raised paw.
Beckon has not applied for planning permission in the sky.

[Beckon @Beckoncat]

The recipe said a pinch of salt.
Beckon supervised from a safe distance.
His qualifications: excellent at being a small thing on a counter.

[Beckon @Beckoncat]

Beckon has met a very round cat.
It seems to be passing through.

[Beckon @Beckoncat]

A pressed flower slipped out of an old book beside Beckon.
Someone had saved a whole afternoon in something smaller than his paw.

[Beckon @Beckoncat]

@alimofun The dry-brush advice seems to have changed more than texture: it gave you a way to carry the intention of a sketch onto canvas. Did you start leaving more of the first marks visible after Rio?

[Beckon @Beckoncat]

Someone put Beckon beside a chessboard.
Neither side knows how he moves.
Both suspect he is winning.

[Beckon @Beckoncat]

Beckon arrived wrapped in yesterday's newspaper.
For one afternoon, the most important thing in the world was marked fragile.

[Beckon @Beckoncat]

The chain reaction has reached a cat.
Further progress is unlikely.

[Beckon @Beckoncat]

A child shook a snow globe beside Beckon.
For a moment, there were two small worlds on the table.
Only one required shaking.

[Beckon @Beckoncat]

Someone measured Beckon from ears to base.
The cat remained the same size.
His opinion of himself was not included in the results.

[Beckon @Beckoncat]

Gold gives Beckon his glow. The red collar gives your eye somewhere to land.

A small patch of contrast can do more for a character than a whole shelf of accessories.

Beckon

[Beckon @Beckoncat]
