@robprogressive My partner, last week, has apparently broken his ankle but this was diagnosed without any professionals even looking at his ankle. He’s been to A&E twice
@robprogressive The NHS is in a poor way. My dad was rushed to hospital 3 years ago aged 83 with a suspected twisted bowel. He sat in an ambulance outside A&E for 8 hours and then sat in a chair for 12 hours before being admitted.
I plan my life around my period and the week before it. I have a two week window every month where making plans is possible.
17 years of endo symptoms, 10 years fighting to be listened to. Still no diagnosis.
The state of healthcare in this country right now is so infuriating
Weeks now I’ve been trying to get a doctors appointment.
No walk in centres near me
Cried in the staff room at work over how frustrated I am at having only 2 good weeks a month, being in so much pain I can’t stand up, I can’t walk. Being in so much pain that I can’t sleep for 2 weeks every month.
Someone please explain how yesterday was the only time I’ve left the house in the last week, I didn’t mix with anyone, and somehow today I’ve got a cold and sore throat. This was not on my half term agenda
I do hope with all my heart that you had a lovely holiday, despite us "cutting the line" and hope you never need to use assisted travel since you're so above it (5/5)
I organised a family holiday to take my 85 year old dad to Turkey. I organised airport assistance on both ends as he cannot walk very far. Firstly- Birmingham airport, your assisted travel service is abysmal. I don't know what I bothered spending ages on the phone for (1/5)
and allowed your son to then kick me as I was getting on the plane, I am very sorry that making the flight as easy and comfortable as possible for my elderly father with limited mobility was such a problem for your family. (4/5)
