Remembrance Sunday Parade 10th Nov Meet up at the Riverside Club by 10:15 latest, shortly after the parade will march up Emgate towards St Gregory's church There will be a service outside the church next to the memorial where Wreathes will be laid

Today marks 10 years since UK forces ended combat operations in Afghanistan.

In a @PoppyLegion ceremony, Minister for Veterans and People @AlistairCarns laid a wreath at the @Nat_Mem_Arb to honour the fallen and pay tribute to those who served.

Today, the government has announced that the Veteran Card will be approved as voter ID in the UK.

Veteran Cards were not be accepted as valid voter ID at the 2024 General Election, and we welcome this change that will make it easier for those who have served to cast their vote.

There will be additional aircraft movement from July 8-19 as we host training aircraft. Rotary & jet aircraft will operate some low flying within normal operating hours. Every effort will be made to keep the disturbance to a minimum.
