@RCTCouncil can we get someone to mount pleasant park to clean up the glass in the kids park and skate park. So much buried into the grass some is difficult to see. Someone is going to get hurt @BeddauPact

An extremely well attended PACT meeting tonight on a cold, wet evening. Many thanks to all who attended and participated. Issues raised including speeding, ASB driving, inconsiderate delivery drivers and the future of the former Coke works. Next meeting date to be confirmed.

Due to the weather, we are sorry to announce that Beddau Family Fun Time event is postponed today. The event has been rearranged for Tuesday 16 August 10am-1pm.

The next PACT meeting for Beddau, Tynant and Llantwit Fardre will take place on Thursday 30th June, 6pm at Beddau & Tynant Community Library. Local County and Community Councillors and South Wales Police will be in attendance to listen to any issues the community may have.

Excellent turnout for tonight’s PACT meeting despite the bad weather. Updates were received from SWP and from County and Community Councillors. Issues discussed included obstructive parking, speeding, ASB and off- road bikes. Thank you to all who attended.

A fantastic turn out for our litter pick today. Working with local primary schools is definitely paying off with a record number of young people joining us. They really understand the anti litter message.
