The Fort Mac-Lac La Biche by-election showed clearly one thing: there are only 3 Alberta political parties that are competitive: UCP, NDP and Wildrose.

Wildrose got 26 times more votes than TIP, 25 times more votes than APA, 6 times more votes than AP and 3 times the Liberals.

It took less than 1 day for the UCP's Brian Jean to demonstrate why he's the wrong man for the job and why the UCP leadership wannabes would take Alberta in the wrong direction.

@PaulHinmanWIPA The Wildrose plan will apply to Mayors and town councillors too. If Wildrose is elected in May 2023, then the people of Calgary and Edmonton can revisit their mayoral choices and consider if voter recall is warranted.
