That will set them back several years, hopefully enough to undo whatever they have accumulated. But yet preserving the integrity of the league.

I think any sort of points deduction or stripping of titles for Man City would be meaningless and damage the integrity of the competition.

Instead I think the punishment should be something that hits them really hard and make it difficult for them to return to status quo.

Here’s what I propose:
1) No Premier League prize money for this season. Whatever they would have gotten to be distribute to the other clubs
2) Huge heavy fine, equivalent to whatever they have earned during the seasons in breach
