@h36_lexii @thehill I'd also refer you to legislation such as ERISA (it is sloppily written and extensive) which governs benefits plans and requirements. Very thorny for employers to offer better deals for employees

It started as a freeze. Then Obama penalized premium insurance plans. Then Dems wanted executive compensation caps for COVID response.

@JorgeMAlmeida_ @thehill I would also recommend reviewing ERISA. I used to work as a paralegal in ERISA litigation. It is a very complex law that outlines benefits provisions. Its not tied to contracts.
