Watching $pons and $stonkbroker both handle their new launches is like night and day.
One founder remained humble, excited about building and was reasonable with the expectations they set.
The other started posting like they're already in charge of a $4b token.
@Mike_Ess_ Him mentioning Ansem slop and $pump as alternatives tells me everything I need to know.
I liked the buybacks but it's officially too cringe for me to pay attention to. Plenty of other plays.
I would like to imagine that $marscoin consolidating here is @cz_binance giving us time to build a position before they send it
CZ please like this post if that's the plan, I won't tell anyone.
@Mike_Ess_ I wonder if it would have been different if he didn't start power-posting and self-fellating all over the place. Maybe the community would be more understanding.
He seemed nice enough overall though, I wish him the best through the rocky launch.
@Mike_Ess_ The timeline's sentiment is emotionally bearish.
He flubbed the V2 launch but there's a chance that Pons has enough partnerships lined up to come back from this.
The real bear case is that a good competitor launches now, while $pons is down.
@rickytheirish Exactly, $pons and $stonkbroker are the only two that seem like they have the right ingredients to last. At this point I'm just holding those with a long time horizon and watching people rotate around.
If patience pays off for $pons then it'll create a mindset of holding for bigger gains.
If it flops, I see the Robinhood market getting more annoying than Solana with the rotations.
I'm personally holding a bag.
