Resume Tip #2 | Thank You Notes
Thank you notes can be a controversial topic - a lot of people don't like to write them, and I get it! It can be hard to come up with something unique that will set you apart from other candidates. Here are some tips and tricks I've gathered:

@sasha_gtnp Oh, absolutely! I'd say that it's more preferred nowadays. And it's much easier to get a thank you note to someone quickly.
If you don't have the hiring manager's contact info - take a blank card to the interview, write it in the lobby, and hand it to the receptionist - boom!

The thank you note is formatted (crucial!) and streamlined. You always want to let them know how great you will be for their team, and re-confirm your interest in the role.

Resume Tip #1 | Active Verbs โ๏ธ
By using an active verb on your resume ("Spearheaded X project" vs. "Was responsible for..."), you provide clarity on your role and insert yourself into the action. Active voice highlights the impact YOU had on a role - not the other way around.
