JESUS FIRST, Family & America!🇺🇲 Wife-Mom-Grandma, Blessed Beekeeper, Curious Herbalist, Ret.RN, Prayer Warrior, Common Sense Advocate, Dogs-Cats-Chickens
I pray for my brothers & sisters sitting in a lukewarm church with the feel-good message every week. No true repentance, rare obedience, little desire to learn what Father has really commanded. I love them like family & will still try to share the truth but had to walk away...
@MissyIsMaga So good to hear about your story. He brought me out of utter disobedience and darkness. I often get tearful with gratitude. May He continue to bless your journey, sister.
Every generation before ours worked this out by watching what happened, and we overruled the lot of them in about fifty years.
They fed cod liver oil to children. We laughed at it, then rediscovered vitamin D deficiency across half the country.
They gave babies whole milk. We gave them skimmed, then put the fat quietly back when the brains needed building.
They cooked in lard and dripping. We swapped it for hydrogenated oil, the one fat everybody now agrees was killing people.
They ate the whole animal. We took the offal out of the shops, then sold the same nutrients back in capsules.
They soured and fermented whatever could not be eaten fresh. We pasteurised the lot flat, then built an aisle for the bacteria.
They ate two to three times and stopped. We invented snacking, then a monthly injection to switch the appetite off again.
They knew hard physical work built a body. We removed it from daily life, then sold it back as a membership.
They kept the fat from the roast in a tin by the cooker. We poured it away and bought a bottle of seed oil to replace it.
They put a pat on the table without a second thought. We put down a tub of emulsified oil and told them it was better for their hearts.
Not one of those traditions came from a theory.
Every one came from thousands of years of watching which households lost children and which ones did not.
We replaced that with a committee, a graph and a marketing budget, inside two generations.
The corrections are arriving now, one at a time, quietly, with nobody apologising for any of it.
That knowledge was not sentimentality. It was evidence, kept in the only place anyone could keep it.
For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote of Me. John 5:46.
This refers to the Torah. Why do Christians today say we can ignore and disobey the part of the Bible all about our Messiah? Put Him & Yah first. Keep the Sabbath and feasts. Eat clean. Be blessed.
BREAKING
A surrogate mother is fighting to save the baby boy she’s carrying.
His life is at stake.
McKenna, a single mother in Alaska, became a surrogate to bring her family extra income and help another family have a baby.
She applied to Worldwide Surrogacy, was matched with a couple, and became pregnant with a baby boy she calls Gabriel. Everything went smoothly at first…
At the 20-week anatomy scan, doctors noticed there was no blood flow through the left side of Gabriel’s heart. A specialist diagnosed him with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS)—a treatable condition.
Shortly after the diagnosis, Gabriel’s intended parents requested McKenna abort him.
McKenna scheduled appointments at abortion facilities out of state.
But she didn’t want to do it…
"Every time I thought about having to show up at the clinic, I was hysterical, and I couldn't picture myself reacting or feeling any other way. So I was really scared of how I would view myself as a woman and a mother, how I'd be able to come home to my kids after participating in something like that.
But I didn't have the means to be sued over this. I'm a single mom. I can't afford lawyers to fight this. I felt I had no other option, no way out. It was just a horrible feeling."
Baby Gabriel would have been killed in a D&E abortion—brutally dismembered with metal forceps, limb from limb.
Thankfully, McKenna’s brother stepped in, promising that he would care for McKenna, her children, and even Gabriel. She cancelled the abortion procedure.
McKenna got in touch with @LilaGraceRose, and was connected with doctors willing to care for Gabriel after birth. But Gabriel’s intended parents have NOT agreed for him to receive ANY treatment.
In fact, they’re suing McKenna for not aborting Gabriel.
This precious child is in danger. McKenna is 35 weeks pregnant, preparing to give birth, and has filed for custody to ensure Gabriel receives treatment.
"I want to fight for him because he deserves that chance…There's no guarantee; there's not a guarantee with anything. But he deserves a chance of living life outside of my womb. I just really pray he gets that opportunity."
McKenna is working with lawyers trying to protect baby Gabriel’s life, but a California court may be able to dictate where she gives birth and which medical team treats her.
McKenna and baby Gabriel are victims of the surrogacy industry—which blatantly treats women and babies as commodities instead of humans.
Baby Gabriel MUST be given his chance at life.

Maybe the people saying Black people are too stupid to get an ID to vote… are the racists.
Maybe the people saying married women can’t figure out how to get a birth certificate… are the sexists.
Maybe the people who won’t name a single number they’d cap immigration at… are the extremists.
Maybe the people who claim to trust science… but can’t define what a woman is aren’t following it.
Maybe the people obsessed with “equity” while ignoring merit… are the ones holding people back.
Maybe the people calling everyone else a threat to democracy… are the ones trying to rig it.
Maybe the people who fight for the working class from a private jet… are fighting for something else.
Maybe the people who say they care about the poor… have run every major American city for 50 years and made them ALL worse.
Maybe the people calling for more gun control… travel with armed security paid for by taxpayers.
Maybe the people who demand unity while calling half the country fascists… don’t want unity, but surrender
Maybe it was never about justice, or equity, or tolerance, or democracy.
Maybe was always about power.
And maybe you can tell, because they never stop accusing YOU of exactly what THEY are doing.
Many seek the truth. Many believe they have found the truth. Unless they are willing to follow and obey the Truth, they are following their truth, not Jesus...
I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6
Much of modern Christianity has learned to speak with the vocabulary of the world while still using the name of Jesus.
Ideas drawn from psychology, popular culture, business leadership, eastern spirituality, and motivational teaching are often brought into the church, given a Bible verse and presented as Christian truth. The language sounds hopeful, positive, and empowering, but the centre is usually man rather than God.
“See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ” (Colossians 2:8).
The world tells us to believe in ourselves, follow our hearts, speak our desires into existence, protect our peace, and become the best version of ourselves. Scripture tells us that the heart is deceitful, the natural man is blind, the flesh must be denied, and the old self must be put to death.
“If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me” (Matthew 16:24).
The gospel was never given to improve our opinion of ourselves. It was given to destroy our confidence in ourselves and bring us empty handed to Christ. The sinner does not need stronger self esteem. He needs repentance, forgiveness, a new heart, and reconciliation with a holy God.
“For we are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh” (Philippians 3:3).
This is why attractive phrases must be tested, not admired. A saying may sound wise and still be built on rebellion. It may mention purpose, destiny, abundance, healing, and victory while quietly removing sin, judgment, repentance, holiness, and the cross.
The church is not called to baptize the wisdom of the age. We are called to expose it by the Word of God.
“Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth” (John 17:17).
Whenever Christianity becomes mainly about feeling valuable, discovering personal greatness, protecting comfort, or achieving dreams, Christ has already been pushed from the centre. The gospel does not teach us that we were always enough. It tells us that we were helpless, guilty, and lost, and that Christ alone is sufficient.
The church does not need better slogans from the world.
She needs the truth of God, the cross of Christ, and the courage to refuse every message that flatters man while leaving him unchanged.
