@realEstateTrent I’ve acquired several properties with negative Environmental issues by utilizing Federal Brown Fields funds through our City’s allocation. Paid for the reports & some clean up. Our state Dept of Env. Quality also has an “insurance” fund for contaminated sites we’ve used.

@ChrisRamsey60 I started on the appraisal side. Learned valuation inside out. Now 10 years as a developer this experience has saved at least 5 deals from being busted. Being able to talk to the appraiser in his language, discuss assumptions, & on a few occasions catch flaws in the reporting
