When I first started VTubing in 2020, I was looked upon strangely because I decided to integrate my already-active IRL idol activities with my vtubing as a "2.5D VTuber." I'd do a "transformation" every stream from IRL to 2D!
Recently, there are many more 2.5D idols/vtubers emerging. And I've been able to evolve my stage performances over time by being able to harmonize and banter back and forth live with my VTuber self, and having matching outfits between IRL and virtual. Just this year, I performed IRL on stage with my vtuber friends in 3D at Densetsu's first one man! I'm just now feeling like I'm really achieving something that I've always aimed to—to bridge seemingly disparate communities, cultures, and even dimensions!
Like Emi said, if you look, things are continuing to evolve in the vtubing sphere in so many interesting and unique ways. As I saw @/StarlightDaryl say on her own post, it feels like a lot of things are really just beginning!
So, if you think something is really cool and underrated or deserves more recognition, push it out there and help the world see it! 💪✨️💕 I'll keep working my hardest, too!
Every Sunday I use my background in STEM to review the WORST published academic articles I can find
I call it Scuffed Science Sunday
Viewers love it but that’s not what goes viral on this app
On this app I only go viral when I talk about bathroom disasters or being stinky 🫠
Day 4! The key to success this year will be sketches, a whole painting everyday last year simply did not happen, but with the power of monochrome and self indulgence I'll make the 31 days happen 💪✨
