@Harumi_Minnie You do not wash meat, the internet is lying to you.
And what I do for the grease is take an old empty jar and dump it in there. Then when it's full I'll just toss the whole thing (with lid on) in the trash.

You can also leave the pan sit to cool, and just scrape the grease out

You need to find a partner that fits into your life, not one you need to bend over backwards to accommodate just for the sake of them being there.
