But hardware wise there shouldn’t be an issue and software wise it’s not much of a problem in practice. Especially with macOS. Obviously if it happens in the right moment…

@rich_whitepaper @Ndi_Muvenda_ You can’t even make a USB connection to the card, as SIM-Cards don’t support the USB protocol or USB in general. And even if it would work it would be a mobile connection that is metered like a mobile connection and not free Wi-Fi (3/3)

@rich_whitepaper @Ndi_Muvenda_ The connection itself is made by a modem. Phones have a modem integrated. You can’t pass the data of the SIM-Card to the modem via a USB connection made by just soldering wires to the pins of the card. (2/3)

@saradietschy editing friendly format. You can even use ProRes with OBS if your pc is very beefy and you have enough storage. But you can also use NVENC or x264 (don’t know about AMD AMF) as an Intraframe-Format via the custom settings. This should also give a better editing performance (2/2)

@saradietschy When it comes to smoothness of the final video, make sure you aren’t recording with VFR but with CFR. Almost all Editing software besides Final Cut doesn’t go well with VFR and introduces micro-lags or time shifts. If you want a smooth editing experience choose some (1/2)
