Nine years ago today we were saying goodbye to Benidorm at the end of filming.

The worst thing about the end of a holiday is going back to making my own bed and cooking meals. Only two more days in Menorca.

Just sitting on my terrace in the already stifling heat,waiting for the family to emerge so we can all go a trip round Punta Prima on a ‘choo choo train’ with Alice. I bet you’re all wanting to join us!

We’ve been trying to create new nesting sites for our swallows. So we made this box & put a pot swallow nest inside (on the right). But the swallows don’t like the decor & have decided to build their own nest (on the left!) But how fab, at least they’re using the box!

Our birdbath no longer holds water and instead is filled with plants. An artist friend laid tiny tesserae over the base with our entwined initials in the middle.
