In the middle of all the turmoil caused by US and Chinese tariffs, Saskatchewan’s strong and steady economy continues to create thousands of new jobs.

While the rest of Canada lost jobs in March, Saskatchewan led the country in job growth, with 6,600 new jobs created in the last month and 19,800 new jobs in the past year.

Our unemployment rate also fell to 4.9 per cent, the lowest in Canada.
