As someone living in Kyiv, I’m begging you:
Please help us stop this.
Almost every night, russia strikes Kyiv with ballistic missiles, hitting civilians, homes, and warehouses.
We can’t stop these missiles because we don’t have enough Patriot systems.
People are dying.
Please don’t look away. Share what’s happening in Ukraine. Help us save lives.
@DrnBmbr It’s a pincer move - cut off the oil, cut off the logistics, cut off shipping lanes. Isolate Moscow and St. Petersburn.
No revenue to fund the war. Taxes are due and millions cannot pay.
Many people are asking: “Why the hell strike Wildberries warehouses? It would be better to keep hammering oil refineries. It’s just an online marketplace.”
Here is the brief and straightforward explanation.
First, the obvious reasons:
Wildberries openly sold everything needed for the military: drone components, body armor, radios and helmets. There were even dedicated “Everything for the Special Military Operation” sections.
Large warehouses are convenient targets. Burning one can immediately disrupt logistics across an entire region.
Thousands of sellers lose their goods, while ordinary people begin to feel the war personally through delays, disappearing products and general chaos.
But that is not even the main point.
The main point is money and banks.
Wildberries is one of the largest debtors in Russia. The company’s turnover exceeds 6 trillion rubles — roughly 3% of Russia’s GDP. Its debts amount to around 1.3 trillion rubles. It reportedly owes hundreds of billions to VTB alone.
VTB, Russia’s second-largest bank, is heavily tied to this marketplace. If warehouses continue to burn and the company begins to collapse, VTB could suffer enormous losses.
And VTB is a state-controlled bank. That means the government would have to rescue it using public money.
Would this hurt the “gas-station country”? Yes — but differently from strikes on oil refineries.
Strikes on refineries hit budget revenues and fuel supplies.
Strikes on Wildberries warehouses hit banks, small businesses and the morale of ordinary people.
When someone’s parcel never arrives, a seller loses all their goods and a major bank starts shaking, the war stops feeling like something happening “far away.”
It also forces the state to spend oil revenues not on the military, but on patching holes in retail and banking.
In brief:
Oil refineries — a strike on the Kremlin’s wallet.
Wildberries — a strike on the public’s wallet and nerves, as well as on the banking system.
Both are necessary. Together, they work much more effectively. 🤟
APPLEBAUM: If Russians stop fighting, war is over. If Ukrainians stop fighting, Ukraine is over. Ukraine doesn’t exist anymore. So, they have no choice, but to fight. Ukrainians have to continue fighting to defend their country. That’s what Trump has just resisted understanding.

Ukraine is shocked by the way U.S. President Donald Trump is behaving.
It feels like the old saying: "Figaro here, Figaro there." If Mr. Trump has a memory problem, then he either needs a notebook or someone standing beside him constantly reminding him of what he said and promised yesterday. Otherwise, it's embarrassing and simply disgraceful how those confident promises to our country about Patriot interceptor missiles—and even a license to produce them in Ukraine—have turned out.
Donald Trump once again demonstrates his rotten nature: he says one thing, thinks another, and does something completely different.
Trump's plan seems to be this:
Stage one: step up to the podium, put on a serious face, and deliver talking points about "strong support for Ukraine," the importance of air defense, and saving lives.
Stage two, the final one: block 300 Patriot interceptor missiles.
Where is the logic?
Apparently, it's been lost somewhere. Then again, Trump has never been known for logic.
We are witnessing a new political sport: changing positions at record speed. One day you're the "leading defender of democracy," and the next you leave Ukrainian cities without protection from nightly missile attacks.
This behavior resembles the whims of a teenager rather than the decisions of the leader of a superpower.
The only ones pleased with Trump's actions are those in the Kremlin.
For them, this kind of back-and-forth is a direct green light: "Keep killing Ukrainians—we're having another change of mood over here."
There are no words left to describe this American coward.
Ukraine is not asking for foreign armies.
It is asking for simple pieces of military hardware to shoot down the weapons flying toward civilians.
But apparently, for some people, keeping their word is simply too difficult.
If your actions contradict your own statements within a single day, that is not great leadership.
It is simply chaos in the mind of one old man—a chaos for which Ukrainians are, unfortunately, being forced to pay with their lives.
Shame on Trump!!!!!!!!
russian terrorists have just hit a residential neighborhood in Zaporizhzhia.
People have been killed and injured.
Once again, civilians are paying the price of russia’s terror while the world looks away.
russian Peskov:
"Zelensky should today make the decision for Ukrainian forces to leave the territory of Donbas."
🧐
...........
Tell Ukrainians to leave Ukraine?🤦♀️
What dimension do Russians live in?🧐
The Russians have no authority whatsoever to interfere in the affairs of a sovereign state.!!
