The claim by TRAs that "there is no trans ideology" is absurd.
TRAs maintain that "gender identity," the existence of which cannot be verified or falsified, supersedes biological sex. This claim requires a quasi-religious belief analogous to the Catholic belief in transubstantiation.
TRAs maintain that a man who identifies as a women based on his gender identity is justified in abrogating or appropriating the rights of women.
There can be absolutely *no* doubt: this is an ideology.

This was shared in response to my post about NHS ambulance trusts and their gender identity policies.

I think it helps explain the institutional culture that made it possible for an NHS ambulance trust to produce policies that effectively ignore women as a sex class.

This isn’t about an individual.

It’s about an organisation that saw no contradiction in using International Women’s Day to celebrate a male staff member - under the banner of Women in Paramedicine.

And once institutions stop distinguishing between sex and gender identity, policies that undermine women’s sex-based rights inevitably follow. That’s the real story.
