Very pleased to have our new JPSP paper, led by Pete Koval, available online first: “How does it feel to be treated like an object? Direct and indirect effects of exposure to sexual objectification on women’s emotions in daily life” https://t.co/QGQ4KrO5Vj
@DGoliath2@_yeou@mattjcan You’re describing the current law - abortions in QLD are available until 22 weeks (or, roughly 5 months), and termination after that point is only done if 2 doctors agree it’s necessary, usually because it’s a severe risk to the mother or because the fetus is unviable.
@UMGoBlueinMI @jckroll63 @Hedermills @Sabrinafon That’s because your question is about 20+ week abortions, which are overwhelmingly done for medical reasons. The number of women who would deal with pregnancy for 5+ months then frivolously abort is a rounding error against a backdrop of necessary late term abortion.

@briony_lipton Hey Briony, there’s a typo in the first option for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander question (spelled Aborignal, missing an i) - interesting study!
@victorsojo@PatsKarvelas@bruceking54 Same here. I like to run around 9.30-10pm or thereabouts. The curfew will mess with my exercise, but I’ll survive and make do with an earlier jog because it’s a *minor* imposition in the grand scheme of things
@lindamciver Hi Linda, could you update the graph with y-axis? It’s unclear a) what the numbers represent (presumably daily cases?) and b) over what timeframe? Without that info it’s quite hard to interpret.
@Tulsi_Achia Anything that I might need - umbrella, lip balm, hand sanitiser, tissues, spare public transport cards, hand moisturiser, foldable grocery bag, hair clips and ties, bandaids …
Discrimination against job applicants with ethnic minority, "foreign" names is still endemic.
Here's how recruitment discriminates against 'foreign' applicants:

Lured back to twitter with 1 goal: recruiting an ace team of researchers to help set up the 'national evidence institute' recommended by the Gonski 2.0 report! A great time to join, as you'll get to shape the establishment of @EdResearchAU.
