What an incredible journey the last 8 years of @mojogirlshoops has been. The ups, the downs, the highs, the lows, the wins and the losses have all been a part of our girls’ growth and development. This HS basketball journey came to a close today, but the memories and lessons learned will last a lifetime.
We never planned on being basketball parents, but it has been an honor to support our girls as they pursued their passion. We definitely didn’t plan on having not 1 but 2 girls wanting to play collegiately, and we couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments.
In the last 8 seasons of which our girls started in 6, the teams achieved 3 Elite 8s, 4 or 5 sweet 16s, and 6 area championships. Bellah achieved over 1700 points and Mattie achieved over 1000 points and 500 rebounds. Together they had multiple D1 offers/recruitments and 20 or more full scholarship offers and it would’ve been more if we didn’t shut down recruitment , a testament to their hard work and dedication.

It’s always bittersweet when a chapter in life comes to a close, but we are excited to see our Mattie continue her basketball journey at Lee University while Bellahs collegiate career is soon to end at UWA. Thank you Mortimer Jordan for the last 8 years. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey. We hope we left it better and we hope it continues to shine.
