Can You ever forgive Me?

[Christopher Majumder @BelligerentLamb]

@vcoolish @grok can you tell me why is this happening and if this is broadly reported by users or if there is a solution to fix this by myself?

[Christopher Majumder @BelligerentLamb]

Incoming voice and video calls on X android app don’t ring properly, the ringtone plays inaudibly out of the earpiece speaker instead of the main speaker and the screen doesn’t turn on with the incoming call. This is a bug specific to the Android app.
Please fix this as this bug has persisted forever and I am missing so many calls because I can barely hear the phone ring.
I’ve checked this with other people using the Android app as well and they are facing the same problem.

We have seen the OHCHR’s remarks about today’s events in New Delhi.

India is the world’s largest democracy, where the right to peaceful assembly is guaranteed by our Constitution and safeguarded by robust institutions, an independent judiciary and a free media. As in every democracy, Indian citizens exercise this right subject to reasonable restrictions in the interest of public order. The authorities, for their part, act in accordance with the law, and our courts remain available to all for redressal of any grievances.

The OHCHR’s concerns are therefore misplaced and constitute an unwarranted interference in the internal affairs of India.

In this context, OHCHR would also do well to devote comparable attention to large-scale protests elsewhere, consistent with its mandate of impartiality and non-selectivity.

Football.

It brings you within touching distance, only to beat you to the ground. There is poetry in how it breaks your heart, and teaches you to put it back together and go again.

Here's to another year of hope, heartbreak and the irrational business of believing. 💫 #MGISL13

Thank you Mr. Berwick for saying something so profoundly true. An unborn baby diagnosed with a disability still deserves to be loved and be born and see this world.
Sure, it may be a very difficult life of the child and his or her parents, but that doesn’t mean killing the baby in the womb is mercy.
It is only convenient for the parents if they consider the disabled baby burdensome.

Every baby boy and girl deserves to be born. Their life needs to be cherished, irrespective of what is holding them back.
Your jolly and funny nature inspires me so much Mr. Berwick. Thank you so much.

Friends, Archbishop Fulton Sheen had the courage and imagination to proclaim the Gospel using the means of communication available at the time—namely, radio and television. This is one of the reasons that, from the very beginning of my evangelical ministry, he has been my model and inspiration.

As we prepare to celebrate his beatification later this month, I invite you to watch the “Pivotal Players” episode on the life and work of Fulton Sheen.

It is the Snail that has been chasing after you for the past 5 years or more.
You agreed to a deal that would let you acquire whatever it is that you wanted but simultaneously, a snail who knows your whereabouts at all times will chase after you and you will die immediately upon the snail touching you.

I received my first @Revolut card today.
Revolut launched in India in the yestermonths gradually sending its invite links to those waitlisted.

The packaging is minimalistic and very creative.
I designed my own card in the Revolut app, but it appears that my personal design of the card was modified a little bit by the folks at Revolut.

I did overcrowd the card’s face with “We’ll be alright”, but I guess Revolut believes in ‘less is more’.

Either ways, every time I spend using this card, I’ll be comfortably reminded that “We’ll be alright”.

Maybe I’ll order another card with a more creative design of mine again.

Thanks @Revolut, this was fun.

Morte surrexit hodie.

At 3:00 PM—the ninth hour—we remember the moment the world went quiet.

Good Friday isn’t a symbol. It isn’t a metaphor. It’s the cost.

And Psalm 22 isn’t just “poetic language” from a distant past. It reads like a witness statement.

Centuries before Rome would turn crucifixion into a public spectacle, long before anyone could have imagined a Messiah executed with nails, the psalm gives a line that lands with unsettling precision:

“They pierced my hands…”

Prophecy, fulfilled in a way no one could have reasonably foreseen when it was written.

So today we don’t rush the story.
We don’t skip ahead to the brightness.
We keep vigil at the Cross—somber, subdued, and grateful in a way that hurts.

The Pope’s Prayer intention for the month of April is for priests in crisis.

“Today, we place in your hands all priests, especially those going through moments of crisis; when loneliness weighs heavily, when doubt clouds their hearts, and when exhaustion seems stronger than hope"

The late American Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen will be beatified on September 24, 2026, in St. Louis, Missouri, according to the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints.

I don’t care what is animating or annoying you, I don’t care what your political persuasion might be, invading a church is unacceptable and is a violation of religious liberty.
