Indian Army Standing Strong with the People of Gujarat

Responding swiftly to the flood situation in Gujarat, the #IndianArmy launched multiple Relief and Rescue Columns across the State over the past three days.

Operations were undertaken across #Valsad, #Vapi, #Navsari, #Silvassa, flood-affected areas of #Ahmedabad, including #Dholka and #Rajoda, where troops evacuated over 790 stranded civilians; assisted vulnerable residents; distributed food, water, and essential relief material; and supported the civil administration in restoring normalcy.

Beyond the numbers lie countless stories of courage, resilience, and selfless service. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with the NDRF, SDRF, SEOC, civil administration, and courageous civilian volunteers, the operation stands as a shining example of #MilitaryCivilFusion - bringing hope to those in distress and reaffirming the enduring commitment of the #IndianArmy to the Nation.

#IndianArmy columns of #SouthernCommand continue flood rescue operations in #Navsari in close coordination with the civil administration and response agencies.

138 stranded civilians have been safely rescued so far from affected areas.
