TWO KURDISH WOMEN FLOGGED AND IMPRISONED IN IRAN

Two Kurdish women, Neda Dadejani and Setayesh Sarabi, detained during Iran’s January 2026 nationwide protests, have now been flogged and sent to prison.

According to reports, the women were summoned to the court in Qorveh supposedly to “provide explanations.”

But the moment they arrived, they were detained. Their flogging sentences were carried out on the spot. Then they were transferred directly to the women’s ward of Sanandaj Central Prison to begin serving their prison sentences.

They had previously requested permission to serve their sentences with electronic ankle monitors. They reportedly never received an answer.

Neda is an artist and puppeteer who had won an award for her work at a theater festival for people with disabilities.

She used her hands to make puppets and bring them to life.

The Islamic Republic used its hands to put lashes on her body.

This is Iran in 2026: women are summoned to court, flogged for protesting, and taken straight to prison.

Their names are Neda Dadejani and Setayesh Sarabi.

Majid, I am sorry that I knew nothing about you before they hanged you. Forgive us.

Majid, you have a family. You are someone’s son. Someone’s brother. Someone loved you, waited for you, worried about you. And yet we know almost nothing about you.

This is Majid Adineh, a protester from the January uprising whom the Islamic Republic hanged on Sunday morning.

There was not even a single photograph of him publicly available before his execution. This image is taken from a forced-confession video released by Mizan, the judiciary’s own media outlet.

That is how brutally the regime silenced your family. They made you disappear while you were still alive, and then they took you to the gallows.

I don’t know what happened to you when they came to your cell and said, “Get ready. You are going to be hanged.”

I don’t know what went through your mind in those final moments, when they put the rope around your neck and kicked the chair from beneath your feet.

Did you think you had been forgotten by the rest of the world?

The unbearable truth is that almost nobody knew your name until the regime announced that you were gone.

They silenced your family. They hid your face. They kept your name from us.

And then they ended your life.

This is Marziyeh a woman from my country Iran. Look at her face. She had acid thrown on her face because her hijab was considered “inappropriate.”

Two things about her story break my heart.

First: for more than a decade, I have watched powerful female politicians from the West visit my country, cover their hair, and tell us they are doing it to “respect Iranian culture.”

Iranian culture didn’t do this to her. Theocracy did.

Compulsory hijab is not our culture. It is the culture of those who use religion to control women. Iranian women have paid with prison, lashes, their eyes, their faces, and sometimes their lives for saying NO to it.

Second: the United Nations elected the Islamic Republic to its Commission on the Status of Women.

Yes. The regime that brutalizes women over their hair was chosen to help oversee women’s rights.

That’s like putting the arsonist on the fire-safety committee.
So that is why I am determined to ate the West to respect women. Not the Islamic Ideology that destroy our lives.

Let me you about the twisted morality of this regime:

Public executions are acceptable in Iran. Public dancing is forbidden.

They hang people in public and call it justice. But when two young women dance, sing, show their hair, and celebrate life in public, they call it sinful and criminal.

خانواده‌ای که در فاصله یک ماه، دو بار خبر مرگ به درش کوبید. دو بار داغدار شدند، دو بار جوانی رفت و دیگر برنگشت.

و آن طرف مرز، طالبانی که خود دشمن آزادی است و با جمهوری اسلامی هم رابطه‌ای نزدیک دارد، پس طبیعی است برای جان این جوانان افغان صدایی بلند نکند. گویی جان آنها بهایی بود که می‌شد در پای روابط سیاسی قربانی کرد.

��ما ما مجبور نیستیم شریک این سکوت باشیم. جمهوری اسلامی جان‌شان را گرفت؛ نگذاریم نام‌شان را هم بگیرد. به چهره‌هایشان نگاه کنید. دو جای خالی در عکس‌های خانوادگی و زخمی که جمهوری وحشی اسلامی برای یک عمر در قلب این خانواده جا گذاشته‌اند. نگذاریم در ایران غریب و‌ تنها سوگواری کنند. 💔

His name is Sepehr Amirzadeh. He is a medical student. He reportedly faces execution in Iran.

His “crime”? He treated wounded protesters during January uprising. He tried to save lives.

When people were bleeding, Sepehr did not ask about their politics. He did what medicine demands: he helped the wounded.

For that act of humanity, security forces raided his home, arrested him and now he may be sent to the gallows.

A 44-year-old Kurdish woman in Iran has been accused of spying for Israel. Under the Islamic Republic, that charge could end with an execution.

Her name is Shamsi Khosravi. She is from Saqqez the city of #MahsaAmini who’s killing in the hand of morality Police sparked a revolution in Iran.

The charges: "corruption on earth" and espionage for Israel, the regime's favorite accusations when they want to kill someone and need the world to look away.

She is now in Qarchak prison. One of the most brutal facilities in Iran, where women are sent not to be held, but to be broken.

Her family say that, she is not a spy. She is a Kurdish woman Iran wants to disappear.

This is another Iranian woman who is about to be executed soon.

Every morning I write about someone Iran has just executed; within minutes, a message arrives from a mother, a sister, a friend, begging me to write about their loved one on death row. Before it's too late.

That's why I want to write before this young woman's execution, not after. Arghavan Fallahi. 24 years old. Evin Prison. Sentenced to death.

Judge Salavati, one of Iran's most notorious executioner judges, sentenced her on the charge of "Baghi," armed rebellion.

For months in solitary confinement, she was subjected to severe psychological torture and pressure to extract forced confessions. But she refused. So they sentenced her to death anyway.

Fellow female prisoners who were with Arghavan inside Evin say her situation is urgent. The torture has left her with severe psychological trauma and physical illness. She's not only facing the death sentence, she's suffering right now, inside that cell. But she's still alive and there's still time to save her life.

Please, join me and help us Iranians say her name now and demand that the international community and world leaders pressure that republic to halt her execution and those of other political prisoners.

Islamic Republic in Iran hangs 24-Year-old woman who defended herself from sexual assault

Yesterday the regime executed Marziyeh Neyri yesterday, a young woman who was forced into marriage at age 17 and hanged for fighting back against her attacker.

Marziyeh was 18 years old when her husband's associate attempted to sexually assault her in her own home, in front of her husband. She grabbed a kitchen knife to defend herself. Her husband died in the struggle.

She told the court she had been repeatedly assaulted by her husband's associates before that day. Iran's courts didn't care.

The regime rejected her self-defense claim. Her attacker, who survived, took the stand and called her a murderer. The court believed him over her.

She was sentenced to death.

No clemency. No mercy. The sentence was carried out at Chubindar Prison in Qazvin.

Marziyeh Neyri never had a chance. Forced into marriage as a child under Iran's Islamic laws, she spent the few years of her adult life in a courtroom, fighting for her life after defending it.

She lost.

This is the Sharia Laws in Islamic Republic of Iran where a woman can be hanged for surviving.

Mehdi Roshani، a young Kurdish man from Malekshahi who went to the streets demanding basic rights and was tortured so severely is about to be hanged.

A witness who saw him in prison said:

"If you saw his body, you would be horrified. There was not a single uninjured spot. It was covered with marks of electric shocks and whips."

He was arrested on January 21. Transferred to Tehran. Held in total isolation for months. Tortured for forced confessions. Released on bail, then re-arrested two weeks later.

Now the Islamic Republic wants to execute him, using those confessions as "evidence." But he didn’t confess also his body was destroyed.

His family is too poor to afford a smartphone in order to fight for his life.
