Last week a little boy was tragically killed when hit by a car after leaving a local school in Chester.
The school, the nursery, parents and residents have been trying unsuccessfully for years to reduce the speed limit from 40 to 30mph.
The local community has been left grief-stricken at this predictable tragedy.
