Banning the shift is bonkers to me.
What’s next—banning playing at double-play depth? Banning outfielders shading to pull?
Defenders should be allowed to play whenever they want, and batters to change their approach however they want.
🚨UPDATE🚨 the batter, Henry Ramos, was called up today by the Diamondbacks
He has spent 11 years in the minors and is slashing .371/.439/.582 across 75 Triple-A games this year
Javy Baez walks it off against Amir Garrett and chirps the whole way down to first base. There is some BAD blood here and I can’t imagine this is the last we’ll see between these two dudes.

By next Christmas I want you to throw way harder than you throw now repping out your max bench for easy triples.
LFG
Things you hate to see:
The Yankees throwing at the Rays because they can’t beat them.
The Rays laughing in their faces because they’re not even remotely intimidated by them. https://t.co/R26siM3hBz
As sad as I am that Glasnow wont be getting a no hitter, I will give thanks to the first base ump for being a real homie and calling LeMahieu out, at least he tried
