@philipjones09 I like Meslier. He rarely drops absolute clangers and you can always make a case for why he hasn’t made an individual save. But over time he simply doesn’t make enough saves as an average against the shots he faces.

It’s unarguable that he underperforms on expected saves.

Again, I like Meslier. Would back him in a 1v1 all day long. He’s made some match winning saves for Leeds and rarely drops an absolute clanger. But he simply does not make enough saves as an average of shots faced.

I like Struijk, he definitely has qualities (particularly on the ball) but at 25 with 133 appearances for Leeds under his belt, should he be better than this defensively by now?

I think maybe he’s just not quite as good as we all thought he was going to be. #lufc
