If @FAIreland choose to play Israel, their board is guilty, their management is guilty, their players who line out are guilty, their sponsors are guilty, and paying fans are guilty. Major cost.
Fuck the points.
Walk away.
It'll again put a spotlight on Israel and what they are, increase pressure on other opponents to man up which moves it to @UEFA and @FIFAcom as precedent set and tournament undermined, that moves to other sports and then other areas.
I care deeply about the Irish national team in football. This would destroy that bond and waste an opening to show what we are and stand for.
We aren't winning the Euros (not that would be an excuse) but this would in history make us stand out for standing up. I fear terribly they won't.
Unreal drama over the weekend but you’ll have a few ould boys on the RTE payroll complaining about the split season as they only have gigs for 6 months instead of 9. Fair play @SportTG4 for doing gods work!
🌟 Clubber Moment of the Year 2025🌟 | #2
Once again this Christmas period, we've been asking GAA stars their top moments caught on #ClubberTV from the year gone by!🎄
@OfficialCorkGAA All-Star Sean O'Donoghue quoted @BallinoraGAA's County Final win as his top moment 👇
CLG Watty Graham wishes to highlight its concerns regarding the potential long-term impact of the proposed extension to the intercounty season. In the spirit of constructive engagement, we have shared the following letter with all county boards and respectfully requested that it be passed on to their clubs for consideration.
Congratulations to Catherine Connolly, the next President of Ireland.
Catherine will be a voice for peace, social justice and a united Ireland.
This is a landslide victory for humanity and for hope!
I voted @SocDems under the assumption they would never enter government with the parties that have caused the housing crisis & health service abomination. I didn't vote @labour because that's what their MO has always been. So please Social Democrats don't be the mudguard..#GE24
Roughly 350,000 through the gates of county finals. 72,000 people playing adult football and hurling. Many thousands playing underage. We're being sold the idea the GAA is wholly reliant on inter-county to interest people. It's just not true. Column today
