Today, a French court has banned Israeli firms from participating in @cogeseurosatory, Europe’s largest defense show, a little over two weeks before the event kicks off in Paris.
This is problematic for several reasons:
1. Most Israeli military technologies are designed to protect civilians. Israel has the most sophisticated multi-layered rocket defense systems in the world and the most advanced precision weapons for pinpoint targeting that minimize civilian casualties. Without Israeli technology, a war like the one launched by Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, and the Houthis would have cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of civilians. The world can benefit from these technologies to better protect civilians.
2. Banning Jewish companies simply because Israel is defending itself against the largest attack on Jews since the Holocaust is blatant antisemitism. Today, Israel is at the forefront of the war between Western values and radical Islamism. Countries will soon need to learn from Israel how to combat terrorism effectively.
3. The Holocaust began with laws against Jews. Today, it starts again with laws and courts authorizing the boycott of the only Jewish state. In 1933, no one believed it would lead to the Holocaust and WWII, yet it happened.
France should focus on addressing its internal issues instead of trying to appease anti-Western demonstrators who aim to export conflict.
If a Jewish professor must be banned from campus — or forced to be snuck in around the back — “for his safety,”
…then the university admin believes the demonstration is NOT non-violent,
…in which case it would seem to need to be snuffed out.
What am I missing?
@gummibear737 Does it matter that she’s a lesbian? Couldn’t they have indicated she was female (since the dog is scared of men) and leave it at that? Why is important to the point of this story for me to know who she has sex with?
@MattWalshBlog Interesting. Not that they couldn't do the math, but that the moment one of them seems confident in her answer (48), how quickly the others glaum onto and accept that as their own. Group think, group projects, they've been taught that the answer lies in conformity with the group
This is absolutely astonishing 😳 Francis Collins admits the massive, unnecessary "collateral damage" from their botched covid public health response was due to an elitist beltway-centric myopic POV …oopsie!
@ByronYork@brithume Your post points out the problem. How is it that in some cases people were allowed to walk in the building and take a selfie and in another area the police are fighting to protect the building?
San Francisco’s homeless population was entirely cleared out for Xi Jinping.
The government can easily fix our cities overnight. It just doesn’t want to.
During the pandemic, Australians were beaten, sprayed, shot with rubber bullets, and arrested for not wearing masks, for protesting, and even for being members of the press.
Despite its draconian policies, Australians had more excess deaths than Sweden, which did not lock down.
Claiming one human must impair their breathing, ability to communicate, and general development (in the case of children and young people) to assuage another person’s irrational fear is politicized, groupthink nonsense.
@tomboytomom@_CryMiaRiver@ladybugz443@globalnews Same. I wanted to play football, hated dresses and skirts. Never played with dolls. I was a tomboy. And that’s ok. But if I was growing up now, who knows what I would believe. My heart actually hurts for the young girls growing up who are just tomboys.
RDS went after this prosecutor and local ordinance while also pardoning this pastor.
Did Trump find a way to bar vaccine mandates for federal employees? Oh he didn’t huh?
Just stop @toddstarnes
