According to Mr. Asare, the role of banks in enhancing quality surgical healthcare can be achieved through strategic partnerships between they and institutions offering more affordable funding options. This collaboration would enable the provision of cheaper financing alternatives to surgical care clients.

On designing funding models for surgical care units in Ghana, he proposes that institutions pre-finance equipment, manage from end to end and share revenue with the units to ensure sustainability.

NPP Opens Nominations for 2026 Presidential Primaries: The New Patriotic Party has officially opened nominations for its 2026 presidential primaries. Interested aspirants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of GHS100,000.

According to General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, nominations close on August 28, 2025, with elections set for January 31, 2026.
