In 2022, my dad was reversing the car to take us to church.

He didn’t realize I had opened the door again… and the door got damaged.

I felt terrible that morning. He still took us to church with another car although I felt really bad.

Later that day, I deliberately slept around 6pm just so I wouldn’t have to face him when he got back 😂

When he returned around 8pm, he asked for me. They told him I was sleeping, which was unusual… so he told them to wake me up.

This man carried me on his lap and said, “The car you damaged belongs to your father, so it belongs to you, too. You shouldn’t feel bad. I’ll fix it tomorrow.”

That moment has stayed with me ever since.
