@24FrameRitual @barbaracrampton Sorry I missed this earlier, but yes, absolutely. I think we’re trained to expect bad things to happen in the dark, & broad daylight sort of lulls us into a false sense of security that can make for great drama and tension on screen.

the ending is the closest we got to genuine disaster. The scene files got corrupted and we lost 90% of what we’d shot. It was heartbreaking, all the footage was so good. We reshot most of it a few nights later. But couldnt do that too angle. 1/2 @SarahHagan4Real @barbaracrampton

More important to focus on what needs to happen to fix it. Also, my producers wisely waited until the end of the day to tell me, so I was too tired to feel pretty much anything.

But honestly I’m just floored by everyone’s work. Nobody did this movie for a paycheck, and I remain so deeply humbled that the cast and crew brought such honor and generosity to our work together, and looking it now, you know what? It turned out pretty fucking great. #sunchoke
