We too grown for lies and half truths. If something changed, say that. If you did something, stand on it. Don’t look me in my face acting real while hiding stuff and switching the story. I can respect the truth even when I don’t like it, but once I find out you been playing with me, I’ll never look at you the same. If you can’t keep it real with me, stay away from me
I’m real big on communication. If something changed, you could’ve talked to me. If you felt different, you could’ve told me that. I would’ve respected the truth way more than watching your effort change while you acted like everything was normal. We too grown to be moving weird instead of having a real conversation. Once you choose silence over being honest with me, I’m cool on you 💯
All roads lead you back to yourself. The standard you kept lowering, the boundary you kept softening, the gut feeling you ignored for the hundredth time. Life is not punishing you — it is just repeating the lesson until you finally sit down and learn it. The same situation in different packaging, the same type of person with a different face, the same outcome from a different direction. It stops when you stop. When you finally listen to yourself, trust yourself and hold yourself to the standard you always knew you deserved.
