The Jewish Bankers Who Funded the Invasion That Created the Modern World

In 1688 William of Orange needed seven million guilders to invade England and overthrow a Catholic king. He did not have it. So he went to the Sephardic Jewish bankers of the Dutch Republic, and what happened next changed the financial architecture of the entire Western world.

Francisco Lopes Suasso, a Sephardic banker whose family had fled the Spanish Inquisition, handed William two million guilders with no contract and no collateral. When asked what security he required Suasso answered: if you are victorious you will surely repay me, if not the loss is mine. A two million guilder bet on the outcome of an invasion with nothing in writing.

Suasso was not alone. The Jewish firm of Machado and Pereira had been the primary military contractors for the Dutch Republic's land forces since 1674. Moses Machado and Jacob Pereira supplied and provisioned William's army for the English campaign. Another Sephardic contractor, Jeronimo Nunes da Costa, handled the transit costs of the reinforcement army that joined the invasion. William of Orange was financed, supplied, and provisioned by a network of Sephardic Jews operating out of The Hague.

The invasion worked. James II fled to France without a fight. William and Mary took the English throne in what history calls the Glorious Revolution. And then William imported the Dutch financial system that his Jewish bankers had helped build.

Six years later in 1694 the Bank of England was founded, modeled directly on the Bank of Amsterdam. Parliamentary control of taxation and spending became permanent. Public debt became a financial instrument rather than a royal embarrassment. England went from a country where kings could bankrupt the treasury on impulse to a country with a functioning credit system capable of financing wars, colonies, and an industrial revolution that remade the planet.

The Sephardic bankers who bet on William's invasion did not just fund a change of king. They funded the institutional framework that produced the British Empire, the modern bond market, and the financial system the entire Western world still operates inside today.

Suasso asked for no security. He got the modern world in return.

O perito da Polícia Federal, João Cláudio Nabas, procurou uma delegada envolvida nas investigações sobre o Banco Master e afirmou que mantinha uma relação antiga com a jornalista Malu Gaspar, do jornal O Globo.

Nabas abordou a delegada pessoalmente e retomou o contato dias depois por mensagens. Nos diálogos, ele teria dito que atuava como fonte da colunista havia anos e que costumava repassar-lhe informações. Em uma das conversas, também teria sugerido que a delegada compartilhasse dados relacionados ao inquérito.

A delegada comunicou o episódio aos superiores e apresentou as mensagens recebidas. O caso passou a integrar os elementos analisados internamente pela Polícia Federal e contribuiu para o aprofundamento das suspeitas sobre a atuação dele, posteriormente alvo da 7ª fase da Operação Compliance Zero. autorizada pelo ministro André Mendonça, do STF.

A PF apura um possível vazamento de documentos sigilosos extraídos do celular do banqueiro Daniel Vorcaro, controlador do Banco Master. Entre os arquivos analisados estão documentos identificados como “Moraes” e “Toffoli”, que chegaram à imprensa durante o andamento da investigação.

Após a abordagem à delegada, investigadores passaram a analisar acessos de Nabas a sistemas internos da Polícia Federal, registros de consultas e equipamentos eletrônicos ligados ao perito. O conjunto de informações embasou as diligências realizadas na nova fase da Operação Compliance Zero.

Com cerca de duas décadas de carreira na corporação, Nabas atuou na área de perícia relacionada a crimes financeiros e previdência complementar. Em 2023, concluiu mestrado na Universidade de Brasília com uma dissertação sobre fraudes em fundos de investimento ligados aos Regimes Próprios de Previdência Social, tema relacionado a uma das linhas investigativas do caso Banco Master.

No pedido de busca e apreensão a Polícia Federal afirmou que Nabas de fato criou os documentos relacionados aos magistrados e que a análise dos metadados e conteúdos de tais manuscritos reforçou os indícios de que Nabas organizou e repassou à imprensa os dados sigilosos referentes às informações sobre os ministros do STF encontrados no celular apreendido de Daniel Vorcaro.

O perito também compartilhou em redes sociais publicações favoráveis a nomes do bolsonarismo, como o senador Sergio Moro (União Brasil-PR) e o deputado Marcel Van Hattem (Novo-RS).

O histórico digital do servidor revela um alinhamento público e reiterado às principais bandeiras da Operação Lava Jato.

On 11 June 1943, Karl Gorath, a 20-year-old gay German nurse, was deported to the Auschwitz concentration camp. He was first arrested for homosexuality after being denounced by a jealous lover in 1939, and given a prison sentence....

After his release he was sent to the Neuengamme concentration camp, where he was made to wear a pink triangle denoting LGBT+ prisoners. Working in the camp's health department, with some comrades he attempted to smuggle food to Russian prisoners, who were being starved to death. Their plan was discovered by the Nazis, who then sentenced Gorath to transportation to Auschwitz as a criminal and political prisoner, to be denoted with a red triangle.

Despite contracting dysentery, he managed to survive the war and was released in 1945. But within a few months he was arrested again by West German authorities, who had kept the homophobic Nazi laws intact. His case was overseen by the same judge, who greeted him with the words "You are already here again!" and gave him the maximum sentence of five years. His lawyer requested that his time served in the concentration camps be counted as part of this, but his request was denied.

After his release, because of his convictions he was unable to get a job for a decade. And when the time came to draw his pension, his years interned in concentration camps were deducted from his allowance, as were his unemployment payments.

He died in 2003, having never received compensation for his treatment, unlike some other Holocaust survivors. He told his story in a 2000 documentary, "Paragraph 175", named after the relevant section of the penal code.

Ancient depiction of people that 'European conquerors' found on Canary Islands 700 years ago. They were supposed to be black-skinned, with black hair and dark eyes. Instead they were white-skinned, with light blue eyes and reddish hair. They were supposed to be expert navigators, but instead they were afraid of sea. They were supposed to have centuries of history to tell, and instead they did not remember their past.

We are talking about original inhabitants of Canary Islands that Italian explorer Lanzarotto Malocello came across in 1312 AD. They were called 'Guanchinet', Italianised to 'Guanci'. Unfortunately, it seems that 'Guanchinet' were first population to be exterminated by Europeans during their 'explorations'. 'Guanchinet', in fact, have totally disappeared from scene, extinct. All that remains of them are bronze statues depicting them, which you see in post.

But in recent years, something of them is 'reviving' thanks to modern genetic technology. Genetic evidence shows that North African peoples made a significant contribution to aboriginal population of Canary Islands after desertification of Sahara at some point after 6000 BC. Research into genetics of Guanche population has led to conclusion that they share an ancestor with Berber peoples. This means that, when there was great Desertification of Sahara, 'People of Mount Atlas' or 'People of Ma' partly headed towards Nile, becoming the 'ancestors' of Egyptians, and partly headed towards Canary Islands. Since 'People of Ma' were called by Herodotus by name of 'Atlanteans', and Plato called that area by name of Atlantis, 'Guanchinet' were probably last heirs of that people, at least from a genetic point of view.

But there are many mysteries that genetics cannot unravel. From account of 'European conquerors', 'Guanchinet' were extremely intelligent and civilised, yet they lived like stone men. Inscriptions on Some walls show that they had a writing system. But when Europeans arrived, 'Guanchinet' were no longer able to write. Furthermore, although it is obvious that they had arrived in Canary lslands by boat, they had strangely forgotten the art of navigation. Finally, Guanchinet were closely related to Berbers. But according to European explorers, they were very similar physically to Nordic peoples.
