Ex Enugu Rangers Dr. Johny Egbuonu visited my Enugu office this week in the company of Mr. Ogechukwu Ajuzie, author of the biography of Christian Chukwu titled ‘The Field Marshal’. In this 55th year of Rangers existence, we had to discuss Ex Rangers veterans affairs, still.

On 2nd June 1963, my parents attended the coronation of HRH Igwe Dr. KON Orizu III CON as the Igwe of Nnewi in Anambra State, Nigeria. God willing, on 30th October this year Igwe will clock 100 years on earth and I’ll sing Hallelujah, as we celebrate our outstanding Monarch.

I paid a previously scheduled courtesy visit to the CEO of Enugu Rangers FC yesterday in the Coal City. Amobi Ezeaku led Enugu Rangers FC to winning the Premiership title last season and this visit afforded me the singular honour of lifting that 2023/2024 trophy Rangers won.
