A lot of master league players and talent already struggle to keep motivation to compete in faceit because of how much time is needed to commit in these tournaments for such little prize pool / opportunity. Surely lowering the prize pool / distributing it through another tournament isnt how we help these players? I think its more important to help and keep these higher tiered players and give them more incentives to stay rather than stretching all of the resources so thin for such a wide pool of people. No flame for lower tiers but I dont see how this really changes anything for the better. Could be wrong though idk.
@NenWhyy I left ow masters for this reason, 3 days a week for masters for just matches not including scrims ans time spent in ranked, just not worth it to get a chance to win so little when divided up at the end. Literally can make 3x more from working flipping patties
When ranked initially came out, I placed in phantom. Most current top players started in eternus. Talent is not a substitute for hard work. I grinded my way to the top, and so can everyone else if they care enough. This is why I believe that itโs the most important thing to do.
