@fesshole We must be fortunate with our primary school as two of our kids had read Harry Potter by the age of 7. For a family of boys who love reading, world book day was something they looked forward to.
@fvckerysprinkle What’s your point? People with jobs don’t get homework, school children do, and those that do their homework generally do better in their exams - then get jobs that don’t ask them to do unpaid homework.
The issue with a GCSE results app is that this will hugely undermine the support schools give on results day & potentially compromise the speed of post 16 sign-ups. I think this is wholly the wrong move.

Back of my Polling Card for local elections. For 1st time, photo ID is required. Card gives many options for elderly or those with disability. None, NONE, for younger or student voters. The policy is simply biased against younger voters, designed to suppress their vote.

In Kings Cross. The only people wearing ties are teenagers in school uniform. Google employees striding in in shorts and vests. Why do we make kids perform this ridiculous, sweaty cosplay? It serves no purpose and prepares them for nothing.
