@TheFearzyy@TalkinYanks Really really sad. Congratulations twitter I'm a moron. I think Boone had a bad game managing the bench and I'm really tired of watching his teams meltdown defensively in the postseason.
@ChrisNunz27@TalkinYanks Giving up after 2 innings to pat yourselves on the back for seemingly being right about lineup choices is being a bad fan. They need the clicks and negativity drives clicks, so I get it. But it's irritating to real fans who genuinely want them to win.
@PCFriarFaithful@TalkinYanks Not really. Jomboy wanted Ben Rice traded and Jake loved McMahon. They graded Paul Blackburn a "B" midseason in their stupid report card. Oh, and Jomboy hated Ramos because he doesn't understand how a platoon bat works. Spare me.
@TalkinYanks It ain't over till it's over. Have some faith in our guys and cheer them on instead of congratulating yourselves for seeming right about their lineup two innings into the game. Btw, Rice hit a home run and Bellinger singled and they're both LHH.
@BurnieW51@TalkinYanks Not really, except that it's only 1-0 despite the horrible defense and Schlittler looking shaky. When all is said and done, it's a 1 run game.
@BrendanKutyNJ Or third? Garcia's defensive metrics at 2B were atrocious when he was with Washington, but I do wonder if he can handle 3B. It's been a pit of despair at the hot corner since A-Rod retired, besides a couple of decent seasons from Gio.

Why are you people acting like these are good numbers lol. The worst outing Cam had against the Rays in his career was one of his first starts in the big leagues and ever since he's been nails.
Two of the starts this season he recorded a 37.5% Whiff and 38.9% Whiff rate against the best contact team in the sport with the flattest swingsπ
Mickey Mantle trying to hit in the 1961 World Series while dealing with a painful thigh abscess. Mel Allen is on the call, and Mantle is clearly not moving like himself.
That's what makes the clip valuable beyond the at-bat.
Historical highlights can make it easy to forget how much pain a player was carrying into the moment, and this footage makes the physical limitation visible.
