'@BenjaStanton & @pjvlee surveyed a sample of 4,160 people in UK to find out which demographics are playing games, their device preferences, what genres they play, and how they like to pay for games.
Happy to see @OmdiaHQ games research cited for the market context too! 2/2

A blockbuster for @Apple in Q4 (FYQ1) with a mammoth $124bn revenue. Here's the breakdown:
- iPhone 13 was a force with strong demand in core Apple markets
- Supply headwinds stifled iPad potential
- Mac surged amid business adoption of M1-based devices
- Services grew over 20%
@ajmcgr Agree its not an effective tool to market to the end user. It is more valuable for channel marketing. If a brand delivers volume, its retailers/ carriers know they can sell cables, cases, warranties and high-margin extras. Also good for sales team incentives in saturated markets.
This does feel like the snowball effect of MWC 2020 once again. Companies cancel, the event becomes less valuable, more companies cancel. Completely understand all who stay away.
Companies start bailing on CES 2022, starting with keynote speaker T-Mobile, Meta, Twitter and Pinterest. Many more to follow, I’m sure. https://t.co/rt0KwLhwNR

It still takes bravery, I think, for a consumer to spend a large sum of money on a foldable, given that they will use the device every day for the next two- to three-years. Great article by @saf_malik with my comments: https://t.co/EcFQ5ZPwMw
A big day for the European smartphone market as @Honorglobal officially begins its comeback. First task is to break free from the shadow of Huawei and show through innovative marketing (and spend) that Honor is a strong and meaningful standalone brand. #HONOR50#WonderInOneTake
Great fun getting started with Apple Watch Series 7. Display is big and bright out of the box. Apple definitely doing everything it can to show off the extra display real estate. But most interested to use fast-charging to get it working for more hours of the day 🏃♂️
HONOR has succeeded in confirming cooperation with a number of supplier partners in the early stage. #HONOR50 series will be equipped with Google Mobile Services, which will provide a more comprehensive application environment and extraordinary mobile experience to our customers.
I had the huge pleasure of participating in the @ITU roundtable on public/private collaboration today. My key metaphor: public and private sector is like a good marriage. You build together, but sometimes it works best if you give each other a little breathing space!
