@JustWazzaXRP@realone0doubt That’s sad, I have seen the number of homeless people increasing dramatically in the CBD. I, myself, had to leave the Brisbane suburbs to go live in the country side where it is more affordable. But some people can’t do that change unfortunately.

To name but a few.... and i do mean a few. So when I hear people trashing Ripple or XRP, I just laugh quietly to myself 🤭... and carry on with my day. 💯
There’s been an uptick in deepfake scam videos (ex below) overlaying new words with old video footage from Ripple’s events (@YouTube are you asleep at the wheel again?!). Reminder: don't trust, verify (all approved messaging will only come from official Ripple accounts).
LET ME BE LESS POLITE IN MY REMARKS:
Any Commissioner who voted to sue @LBRYcom should be ashamed of themselves. But not just the commissioners. SEC enforcement lawyers who threatened to “bankrupt” @LBRYcom & @jeremykauffman, during the investigative stage, by running up defense costs and legal fees, are an absolute disgrace.
The SEC conceded that MOST #LBC token holders did NOT make an investment and only acquired #LBC as a utility token to access the platform.
My client @naomibrockwell NEVER purchased or sold a single #LBC token. She didn’t even meet the FIRST Howey factor, let alone the other factors, yet the SEC refused to provide No Action letters, or guidance, making it clear that secondary market users were not subject to SEC jurisdiction. When asked by the Judge why wouldn’t the SEC make it clear since they acknowledged so many folks didn’t own unregistered securities, SEC lawyers stated “we don’t do that.” But the real reason was because the SEC wanted to pursue its anti-crypto agenda. A total disgrace.
The LBRY case should be taught in law schools across the country, and not just regarding the application of the Howey Test to modern day blockchain technologies and crypto, but also to specifically highlight SEC overreach.
With @FTX_Official@CelsiusNetwork @investvoyager #Luna #Genesis, pump and dumps and all the other bad stuff to go after, the @SECGov picked a small American Company based out of New Hampshire, threatened to bankrupt it during the investigation, and then proceeded to bankrupt it - in a case where NO FRAUD or MISREPRESENTATION occurred, and the vast majority of -#LBC holders are actual users of the platform and not investors.
After millions of dollars was wasted, the SEC got $130K fine. This case alone proves the SEC is a broken, failed and inept agency.
The SEC didn’t dismiss because it’s the right thing to do. The enforcement lawyers recommended dismissal because their bullying and intimidation tactics backfired. Simply put, they were going to be outclassed and embarrassed in the courtroom (just like the Hinman email hearing - where later the judge called them
Hypocrites and said they lacked faithful allegiance to the law).
Also, Hinman was going to be called as a witness by @bgarlinghouse’s lawyer no doubt. Remember, Judge Torres ruled the Hinman emails were most relevant for impeachment purposes on cross examination. SEC lawyers, especially the lead lawyer in this case, only like it when trials are totally stacked against the Defendant, with the chances of a Defense victory, slim to none. In the end, they did what most bullies do when you step up to fight back: they backed down. This was easy to see coming.
The SEC made a serious mistake going after Brad & Chris personally – and now, they’ve capitulated, dismissing all charges against our executives. This is not a settlement. This is a surrender by the SEC.
