@kamikaz1_k With the right investments (e.g. in Postgres), there doesn't seem to be a fundamental reason RLS is any slower than the explicit user_id column pattern.

To be clear, I'm not criticizing anybody for not doing that work, and I'm sure there are a lot of practical ways its hard.
